The String of the Year 2010 survey is finished. A record 200 members participated in this survey in order to vote for their favorite strings. Many thanks to all people who submitted their votes!

This year's survey was almost a 100% confirmation of the 2009 results. No surprises in the Poly and NonPoly departments.
Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power dominated the Poly department and won the title Poly of the Year 2010 and was voted winner in the Durability category. The fact that also the categories Power (Big Banger Alu Power Rough), Control (Big Banger Original 16), and Feel (Big Banger Ace 18) were won by Luxilon strings underlines their constant popularity on the international monofilament market despite the strong competition. Kirschbaum Pro Line No. II 1.15 was voted most comfortable poly 2010, Tecnifibre Black Code 18 was voted winner in the Spin category, and this year Signum Pro Poly Plasma 1.23 won the Tension Stability category.
The NonPoly department was again dominated by Babolat VS Team, and Tecnifibre X-One Biphase confirmed again its position as the most popular non-poly, non-gut string.
With the Babolat RPM Blast we have again a black, textured poly winning the title Newcomer of the Year after having the Tecnifibre Black Code winning in 2009. If there is one surprise in 2010, it's the Solinco Tour Bite being the runner-up in the poll for the Newcomer of the Year.
