I played all on indoor hard courts for 2 weeks, about 15 hours total. The tension loss was evident towards the last few sessions, but I think this is an acceptable amount of time out of a string for me as I hit a hard, heavy ball.
I liked this string on serves especially. I had more confidence to go for my targets in the service box with greater power. Groundstrokes overall were very solid right of the stringing machine. Not much break in required.
I look forward to using this string on a clay court as I feel its characteristics would suit my clay court strategies. I may end up purchasing a few sets of this string for future use as they are offered at a good price and the characteristics of the string were quite impressive to me. |

Having used Black Code in my racquet recently, I think this comparison is quite relevant. They play pretty similarly. I haven't been able to test the absolute durability of the Tier One string, but it seems to be holding tension a bit better than the Black Code was. Spin generation is much better in my opinion as I feel that the Tier One string is more textured.
I have Luxilon 4G in another one of my racquets and actually prefer the Tier One to the Luxilon in this case in terms of all around comfort, power, and spin. |

| I didn't like the string initially, but after about an hour of break in time, it felt quite a bit better. I liked the explosiveness of the ball off the string bed. Nice pop sound was made also with every strike of the ball. |

| I tested this string on indoor hard court at 55 lbs. Great spin potential. Also quite comfortable. The only downside was the thin gauge, which caused the string to break for me after 3 best-of-three set matches and about 8 hours of training. Will have to try this string in a larger gauge. |

This string was easy to put on with virtually no recoil memory.
The string was quite stiff when I first started playing with it. I was getting less depth on balls and had to hit with more effort to get balls deep. But after a couple of hours, the strings settled in and the power and depth showed up in my strokes.
Control is exceptional with this string. Easy to guide balls. Spin potential was average. Strings had virtually no movement as well.
Overall, I am pleased by this string. The only thing I had a problem with was the initial stiffness. I did have a bit of arm pain (bicepial) after each hitting session. Otherwise, good string for big hitters. |

This string was easy to string up (no recoil experienced).
Pros: Really high amounts of spin. Worked really well for me on my kick serve. I also like it up at net. The string had a great amount of control with groundstrokes.
Cons: Really stiff string. I had a bit of pain in my arm after playing with it. I will use this string at a lower tension next time. Also, the string took a while to "break-in". I could tell it lost a bit of initial tension during the first couple of hours of play.
I probably won't use this string at such a high tension again. Second set will definitely be strung lower (~54-55 lbs)
I played with this string for a week. I am going to cut it out now and move onto trying out some Topspin Cyber Red. |
