| Similar stringing behavior compared to the Alu Power. As if there were metal components in the string. Not as bad as with the Signum Pro Tornado which gets tangled up all the time. |

| The Yonex Poly Tour Spin 125 and the Yonex Poly Tour Pro 125 are the best strings I've played so far. They even beat my long time favorite, Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power. The Alu Power plays good when freshly strung but then loses tension quickly. The Yonex PTP 125 feels a bit dull in the beginning but after a few minutes the feel improves. The string shines in a fast game. Incredible power on clean hits, but still controllable at any time. In contrast, the WeissCannon Silverstring for example loses control when you hit very hard. The Yonex feels very solid. Tension stability is unsurpassed. While the Alu Power loses up to 10 DT within a few days, the Yonex maintains its tension for several days and plays good for weeks. |

| Initially the string felt a bit dull but after one hour and hitting against a power player the string started to shine with its awesome feel. But if you are not hitting hard, the string will lack power. |

| Tension stability was excellent. From an initial 39 DT it dropped only down to 37 DT after 8 hours of play. Only the spin could possibly be improved e.g. through a texture. |

| For me the Sonic Pro is quite similar to the WeissCannon Silverstring, the Pro Hurricane Tour, and the Big Banger Alu Power. In order of descending power, I would sort the strings like this: WeissCannon Silverstring, Pro Hurricane Tour, Head Sonic Pro, Big Banger Alu Power. The Silverstring provides good power already on slow swings, while the Alu Power requires a heavy swing. It's hard to describe the feel. It's somewhat "chewing gum like". That's the enormous power that is created when you hit exactly in the sweet spot. However this also leads to a higher risk to over hit if you don't hit with topspin. For me the Sonic Pro provides better control than Pro Hurricane Tour and Silverstring. |

| I was instantly convinced. This is the most balanced string that I've played so far. It is softer than Big Banger Alu Power, Signum Pro Poly Plasma, and Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour, but crisper than Tecnifibre Pro RedCode and Topspin Cyber Blue. Overall it's similar to the MSV Co-Focus, but provides a nicer feel and more power, but you need some time to be able to control the enormous power via topspin. Although I really liked the feel, I just lacked control. Too many balls went long. |

For me the Topspin Cyber Blue is the reference for soft, powerful, comfortable co-polyester strings.
The tension maintenance is better than with the Tecnifibre Pro RedCode. The Cyber Blue maintains its characteristics very well even throughout long time frames. The Pro RedCode should be strung a bit higher, but then it loses a lot of its elasticity. |

Especially the tension stability outperforms all poly strings, but also the touch is yet unsurpassed.
Only the Tecnifibre X-One can get close to this. The Wilson NXT is in a lower league in my opinion. |

If at all, the VS Touch could be compared with the Tecnifibre X-One. Unfortunately this was not available in the list of reference strings. The NXT cannot compete with the VS Touch in any department. The VS Touch is really unique.
Whenever I have arm problems, I switch to this string. Otherwise I prefer co-polys due to their firm and crisp feedback. |

I found the Pacific Poly Force more comfortable than the Force 17. I do prefer the transparent orange color of the Force 17, but the Poly Force plays much softer and more comfortable.
The Big Banger is more wire-like and less arm-friendly than the Poly Force. |

The Tecnifibre X-One ist the only multifilament string that gets close to the Babolat VS Touch. The Wilson NXT however does not get close.
The price however is almost as high as you pay for the VS Touch. Only advantage of the X-One is its resistance against water and the increased durability. |
