| Played on clay at low temperatures. I was positively surprised by the tension stability - this Luxilon string did not die on me after 3 hours like its more expensive sisters, but played great until the end. Very good spin and control, and surprisingly good feel. |

| Played it in comparison to the Kirschbaum Competition 1.20, which just provides a bit more power. Thus the Competition feels a bit more comfortable than the Adrenaline, especially on slightly off-center hits. |

Played indoors during practice and tournament matches with Head ATP balls.
The string felt good from the start. It's of the rather crisp and stiff kind of string with good power, control, and comfort. I compared it to the MSV Co-Focus and the WeissCannon Silverstring, and the winner is the Silverstring (feel). I didn't like the Adrenaline so much on the second serve (kick, spin) and in terms of feedback. I think it depends if you prefer stiffer strings or not. The string performed great at the net, especially on drop shots and short cross.
Conclusion: Great string, which is on about the same level as the two other strings I mentioned. I think they are all great strings, it's just a matter of individual preference. |

I've been looking for a new string for a long time. Now I've finally found it with the Adrenaline. I'm really happy with this string.
Strung in one piece without problems. Very little stretch.
Played indoors on carpet.
Durability: I cannot rate the durability since after 6 hours of play there were no significant signs of wear, just very little notches.
Power and control: The Adrenaline provides sufficient power. It's easy to accelerate the ball. Control is great on fast strokes and the balls goes where you want it to go.
Spin: The string provides good spin potential. I noticed that on my topspin forehand, but also on the slice.
Comfort: Comfort is really good. I don't have any arm problems although I had suffered from tennis elbow recently.
This string is definitely worth a test. |
