Stein and everyone on this thread looks well educated on pro stock frames. I new to all the information about pro stock frames. I have a few questions, such as silicone in the Handel? Is that for shock absorption? You also mentioned that there is lead under the grommets? How would you be able the tell a pro stock racket from just a regular one? Hopefully I didn't ask to many stupid questions.

The silicone in the handle does provide some dampening but it also provides a counterweight to the lead in the hoop so that the frame isn't too head-heavy. Many pros also like a polarized setup with weight at the two ends (top and bottom).

In this particular case, to tell that it's a Pro Stock, you have the label on the pallet, and it's an XL when retail frames aren't available in XL. You also have the reputation of the seller and Stein has a very good reputation as a seller.

Pro stoch are usualy lighter so the player had more space to customize the racket to his personal likings.
